Hi, I’m Davide.
I’m originally from Italy, and I got into sound through music, starting with guitar at school before moving into DJing and music production, until I discovered sound design for film. I was hooked. What really drew me in was discovering how sound can give life to a picture, shaping the emotion, space and energy of a scene.
I’m now based in London, working across film, documentaries, commercials, branded content, podcasts and audiobooks. I’m also co-founder of Directors & Sound, where I collaborate with composer Steven Villacis on bespoke original music and scoring.

What I do.
Sound design
Built from scratch when there's nothing usable on the plate. Impacts, atmospheres, textures, and the shaping that makes a scene land.
Foley editing
Editing and fitting recorded Foley to picture so movement, timing and perspective sit naturally in the scene.
SFX editing
Editing and shaping sound effects to picture, from detailed sync work to broader atmospheres and scene-building.
Mix
Stereo, 5.1 and Dolby Atmos. My own room for most work, with access to a 7.1.4 Dolby Atmos stage on an Avid S4 on request, for projects that need the bigger room.
Podcast editing
Editing and cleanup for podcasts.
Audiobook editing
Editing and cleanup for audiobooks.
